The Consumer Brands Association Launches New Campaign Focused on Consumer Transparency with Six-Figure Ad Buy

Campaign Kicks Off with First-Ever National Consumer Transparency Week, Dec. 1-5 

Arlington, Va. — December 1, 2025 — The Consumer Brands Association announced a new campaign today that highlights the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry’s ongoing commitment to enhancing consumer transparency and the important role safe, convenient and affordable food, beverage, household and personal care products play in Americans’ lives every day.  

The campaign includes:  

  • The first-ever National Consumer Transparency Week (December 1-5) to raise awareness of the industry’s transparency initiatives and ways we are enhancing consumer offerings. It will feature long-time industry-led transparency initiatives such as SmartLabel® and Facts up Front®, and newer resources such as the Food Processing Facts website 
  • TV and digital advertising, including a new 30-second spot, “Grow Your Own,” that launches today and will air on TV and digital platforms across the Washington, D.C. media market. Additional advertising to follow.  
  • A new website, TruthAboutIngredients.org, designed to help consumers cut through the noise and access the facts about the products they use every day.
