About the CPG Legal Forum
When is the event? The 2023 CPG Legal Forum will be held on February 22-24, 2023.
Where is the event? The 2023 CPG Legal Forum will take place at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess located at 7575 East Princess Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85255.
Who is this event for? The CPG Legal Forum is open to in-house attorneys and legal professionals in the CPG industry as well as those who provide services to the industry. In addition to actionable insights, the CPG Legal Forum will also provide CLE credits. For companies or law firms that work with the CPG industry, a limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available. To discuss and secure a sponsorship, please contact Amy Lestition Burke.
Is the event hybrid? To foster a stronger community and allow for rich discussion, the 2023 CPG Legal Forum is an in-person event.
What is the schedule of events for the CPG Legal Forum? The full program and schedule of events are still being finalized. Please visit the CPG Legal Forum agenda for the most up-to-date agenda and event information.
What will the topics of discussion be at the CPG Legal Forum? The CPG Legal Forum will offer dynamic content, with expert insights and actionable strategies covering an array of important and timely legal issues including protecting brands from litigation risks and complying with government regulations. Do you welcome spouses or partners? Spouses and partners are welcome to stay at the venue, however all activities during the CPG Legal Forum are exclusive to attendees.

About the CLE Credits
Can I earn CLE credits for attending? Yes, you can earn up to 11 CLE credits (includes 1.5 in ethics) by attending the CPG Legal Forum. Consumer Brands has a dedicated team which processes requests for state approval. Please note that event accreditation varies by state and Consumer Brands will make every effort to process your request if it is received by December 1.
Is there an additional fee for the CLE credits? No. The CLE credits you can obtain at the CPG Legal Forum are included in the registration fee.
How do I make sure I get my CLE credits? As part of your registration fee, Consumer Brands will submit applications for CLE credit in several states (pending approval). Post-conference, Consumer Brands will file for individual credits on behalf of attendees. During your registration process, please ensure the state(s) and bar number(s) submitted are accurate and complete.
What if I forgot to select states or need to modify my state selections for CLE credits? If you’ve already completed registration, you can modify your registration to include your preferred state(s) and bar number for CLE credits.
What is the ethics session? The ethics session takes place Wednesday, February 22 and provides the opportunity for participants to earn specific ethics CLE credit(s). This session will provide attendees with information that aligns with requirements for ethics CLE credits, as defined by each state’s CLE guidelines. If you are interested in attending the course, please sign-up as soon as possible on the registration page. Space is limited and registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis.
Transportation, Hotel and Attire
How do I get to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess? Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is conveniently located approximately 26 miles / 30 minutes from the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. For more information, please visit: https://www.scottsdaleprincess.com/location.
Can I schedule a car service from the airport? Round-trip and one-way private car service can easily be arranged through the Fairmont Scottsdale’s preferred service, Transtyle Transportation. Please call 800-410-5479 to learn more and make advance reservations. Ride share apps are also accessible and convenient transportation options in the greater Phoenix area. We recommend downloading the Uber or Lyft app and connecting your payment method prior to arriving at the airport for the best experience.
How do I book my hotel room? The room block rate ended January 27. Please call the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess’ reservation line directly at 1-800-344-4758 to book your hotel room and mention Consumer Brands CPG Legal Forum to the reservations agent at your time of booking.
Are there any other fees associated with the room block? There is a daily resort fee of $25 for single or $40 for double occupancy plus 14.02% tax. This fee includes WiFi across the resort, room service gratuity, roundtrip porterage cost and a $25 spa credit per day (not accumulative over multiple days).
What is the dress code? Most attendees at the CPG Legal Forum will embrace business casual attire. Weather in Scottsdale in late February will range from lows in the 40s to highs in the low 70s. We encourage attendees to bring or wear layers to account for varying temperatures for dinners and events outside of the CPG Legal Forum.
Is dinner included for conference attendees? Consumer Brands will provide dinner for conference attendees on Thursday, February 23. A number of dinner reservations are on hold for CPG Legal Forum attendees on Wednesday, February 22 following the welcome reception for attendees to reserve. Due to high demand, attendees are encouraged to book at least eight weeks in advance.
How do I make a reservation within the Consumer Brands reserved block? Consumer Brands has held a number of dinner reservations on Wednesday, February 22 following the welcome reception, scheduled to conclude at 7:00 p.m. To book within the Consumer Brands block, please mention the Consumer Brands Association in your web or call-in booking by Wednesday, February 1. Event Registration
What’s the difference between registration options? The CPG Legal Forum offers registration options to: CPG professionals, law firms and retailers/suppliers. Pricing for each category can be found on the registration page.
I would like to bring multiple members of my team, is there a group rate? The CPG Legal Forum has group rates available at member and non-member rates. Contact [email protected] for more information about our three-and five-registrant group rates.
I received an error message when I tried to register. What do I do next? Please contact [email protected], share the email address that you used to register for the event and we will be in touch to assist with any issues.
How are my credit card payments processed? Credit card payments are processed by PayPal. You are not required to create a PayPal account to process payment. Clicking “Pay by Debit or Credit Card” will allow you to enter your card information. A separate receipt will be emailed to you following your payment.

Policies
Keeping You Safe
The safety of our event attendees is crucial. Consumer Brands continues to monitor the impacts and rate of COVID-19 and strongly encourages attendees to be fully vaccinated. At this time, we plan to have a maskless, in-person event, and will not be offering testing on site. We reserve the right to adjust the event’s policy to comply with CDC and local guidelines, the hotel’s policies and implement additional measures to keep attendees safe.
Registration Cancellation
Attendees may cancel their registration at no penalty up until Friday, January 13. After Friday, January 13, a cancellation will result in forfeiture of your registration fee. Attendees may modify or transfer their registration up until Friday, January 27, prior to the 2023 CPG Legal Forum.
Recording and Photography
During the course of the Consumer Brands’ CPG Legal Forum, our team, including contractors, will be documenting the event with still photography as well as video recording. This plays a vital role in documenting the experience, celebrating leadership of the CPG industry and our members, and promoting additional participation for future events. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Consumer Brands Association. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar Consumer Brands Association events in the future and highlight the event. Additionally, you agree to release Consumer Brands, its officers and employees, from liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.
