This course is taught by highly knowledgeable process authorities with extensive industry experience and an expert food microbiologist. This course fulfills FDA and USDA training requirements for acidification, thermal processing and container closure evaluation operations during the canning of low-acid or acidified foods.

Overview

  • The entire course is delivered remotely in real time via an online webinar platform.
  • Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and have them answered in real time.
  • Students will complete all required exams on their own time using an online exam proctoring interface.
  • Students will receive a copy of the Canned Foods Manual prior to starting the course.

Full BPCS Course: $500.00  

Acidified Course Only: $400.00

Registration

Courses will take place on weekdays and will not take place on the weekend, October 5 – 14. There will be approximately 4 hours of lecturing per day.

The course is divided into two sections: acidified and full BPCS. When registering, please make sure you register for either the full course or just the acidified portion.
