In 2018, the U.S. CPG industry exported more than $102 billion worth of CPG products; more than 7 percent of all U.S. manufacturing exports ($1.4 trillion). Over the last 15 years, CPG industry exports have grown 148 percent, from $41.5 billion in 2003 to $102.7 billion in 2018, outstripping growth in both manufacturing and total U.S. goods exports.
