Consumer Brands, in partnership with the Food and Beverage Issue Alliance (FBIA), will host a town hall with Frank Yiannas, FDA deputy commissioner for food policy and response, to discuss the New Era of Smarter Food Safety Blueprint.
Deputy Commissioner Yiannas will present on the New Era of Smarter Food Safety, provide specifics on the blueprint and then take questions from the audience.
FDA Wants to Hear from You
In preparation for the town hall, FDA is interested in hearing from industry on the blueprint issues or focus areas of most interest to FBIA members and have asked for an initial list of industry questions on the blueprint. This input will ensure that the town hall remarks and discussion will address areas of most interest to FBIA. Send us your blueprint areas of interest and any initial blueprint questions that you would like addressed during the town hall by close of business August 12.
