McCormick & Company spices up Maryland HQ with $140 million investment

McCormick & Company has deep roots in Maryland and recently increased its investment in the state. The global flavor company that produces brands like Old Bay, Frank’s RedHot and French’s revamped its global headquarters in Hunt Valley after a four-year, $140 million renovation.

The new location features cooking and professional development classes, state-of-the-art test kitchens, and a choice of private or collaborative working spaces for the 1,000 employees based at the Maryland headquarters.

“We couldn’t imagine Old Bay being made in Pennsylvania or anywhere else,” said Governor Larry Hogan. “One of the highlights of being governor, the best part of my job, is seeing homegrown, Maryland businesses continue to invest and expand their footprint here.”
