Mondelēz International has partnered with The Hatchery Chicago, a business incubator that’s cooking up the newest trends in foods and giving entrepreneurs the skills they need to succeed. Through its SnackFutures initiative, Mondelēz will work with food and beverage startups at The Hatchery to offer mentorship and opportunities to the entrepreneurs.
“Working with The Hatchery food entrepreneurs will help us push the boundaries of what is possible in snacking as we continue to build our ecosystem of partners while also giving back and offering guidance to new companies,” said Mondelēz Chief Growth Officer Tim Cofer.
The Hatchery is housed in a 67,000-square-foot facility and gives small businesses access to commercial food production space, equipment, resources and financing. The space is also home to the Culinary Core Institute, a program that teaches culinary skills to underserved youth in Chicago.
