McCall Farms continues expansion in South Carolina

McCall Farms has been a staple in the Effingham community for more than 175 years and continues to expand its footprint even further, as the company grows its operations in the area. Its recent $35 million investment will bring 150 new jobs to Florence County.

“South Carolina has a rich history in agriculture, and our manufacturing industry is one of the fastest growing in the country,” said South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster. “To see McCall Farms continue to succeed here sends an important message to the world that companies are finding what they need to grow and thrive right here in South Carolina.”

McCall Farms is one of the country’s leading producers of canned vegetables and fruit, growing its products on 2,000 acres of family farmland in South Carolina and an additional 25,000 acres throughout the Southern region.
