Freshpet Inc. is still growing in Lehigh Valley, investing $84 million in the area to expand its current operations and footprint in the state. The company is renovating Freshpet’s Innovation Center and expanding the Freshpet Kitchen. When completed, the new facilities will add 200 new job opportunities in the area.
“The expansion of the Freshpet Kitchens campus reflects our commitment to continually improving the way we make Freshpet – and will help us achieve our goal of changing the way people feed their pets,” said Billy Cyr, CEO of Freshpet.
The state-of-the-art facility will also maintain Freshpet’s commitment to the environment and will recycle all rainwater, operate at zero-waste-to-landfill and use 100% wind energy.
