Milo’s Tea is ready for the next chapter in their growing company’s history, located right in Tulsa. The Alabama-based tea maker is expanding for the first time and picked Oklahoma as its newest site after a three year search.
“When we came to Tulsa, it was very evident through working with the chamber, working with the mayor and his office that this could be our second home,” said Milo’s Tea CEO Patricia Wallwork. “From the philanthropic community to, from really feeling welcome, they wanted to work with us to help us figure this out.”
The $60 million expansion will create 110 jobs in the area, inside the nearly 103,000-square-foot facility. Milo’s Tea is known for their famous sweet tea and all-natural lemonade, first brewed by Wallwork’s grandfather in 1946.
